Beary Cute Lady Bugs!

Hello everyone and happy Thursday! I wanted to share this planner layout with you that was inspired by the Craftin Desert Divas August Moodboard challenge! Today's your last day to enter the August Challenge so make sure you share your projects using CDD products and use #CDDMonthly!

The layout pictured below features the Lady Bug Garden Clear stamps from Craftin Desert Divas. I stamped them onto sticker paper using dye ink and then colored them in with alcohol markers. To highlight the dates, background coloring for the dates were created using distress oxide inks in worn lipstick and spiced marmalade. I really like how smoothly the oxide inks blend together!

Here's a close up of the border I created with the daisy stamps and you can also see the brush lettering I did using Zig Brushable markers. I love how there are two tones to each marker so you can easily do a monochrome ombre look!

Sweet Planner Pages!

Hi everyone! It's DT member Cheryl with a new-to-me format in planning! BuJos or Bullet Journals are getting increasingly popular and I'm really loving this for my daily planner! Here's my first bujo layout using CDD goodies!

First I printed out some digital stamps from the Planner Basic Bundle onto sticker paper, then I stamped all a few of the Sweet Shop stamps and then fussy cut the images. After the stamped images are cut, I colored them all using alcohol markers. I drew in the hourly schedule into my planner insert with a ruler.  Then I used the banner in the Planner Basic Bundle digital stamps to add a decorative element to the daily schedule.

I used a bunch of the little sweet candy extras as dividers and accent pieces and then used the Candy shop and cute Candy girl as the focal point of each day!

I tried mimicking the candy shop overhang on the top by using the waves shaped die from the Outdoor Landscape 2 die set and cut some patterned paper. Then I wrote in the dates on the top and used a tape runner to adhere the polka dot paper to the top of my planner page.

And YES! I needed to take a close up pic of these little Gummy Bears! How cute are they!?!?! And the paper stack from the Planner Basic Bundle is one of my favorites and I have several of them pre-printed and cut to be ready to highlight any events for the day (I'd say being out of the office is definitely a highlight!)

Happy Craftin! :)

Whimsical and Magical!

Hello Everyone and Happy Thursday! I did a planner layout that was inspired by the Craftin Desert Divas' August Moodboard

I really love Craftin Desert Divas' Stars and Wishes clear stamps. The little critters are so CUTE not to mention all those little adorable extras like the stars, little star flowers and trees!

I stamped the images onto sticker paper using memento dye ink and then fussy cut them using my Silhouette portrait. Then I colored the images in with alcohol markers and added some additional details using white gel pen.  I cut the clouds using sticker paper and the wave looking die in the Outdoor Landscape 2 die. Here's a closer look!

Once all the image prep was ready I laid down the glitter washi on each date divider line and then used Worn Lipstick distress ink to help the clouds stand out a little more. Then applied all of the stamped images to the layout.

This layout just says "Happy" to me! <3

Keep Calm and Bring me Coffee!

Happy Weekend Everyone! It's Cheryl sharing a fun planner layout using the Coffee Trolls clear stamps and Outdoor Landscapes 2 dies!

First I stamped all of the Coffee Trolls and the extras with a black dye ink onto sticker paper. Then I colored all of the images using alcohol markers.

Then I used a die-cutter to cut the fence and grass onto sticker paper. I used distress ink to color the grass. I really love how perfectly the fence die fits perfectly in my planner and I love love love the little hearts on each picket!

After I got all the prep work out of the way, I used distress ink to add a little sky-blue color on my planner page. Then I placed my washi-tape to give it a little something special and put my colored images onto the pages and BAM! Happy coffee & friends planner layout! :)

I hope you enjoyed my layout! Happy Crafting!

Help! Dinosaurs are tearing up my planner!

OH NO! My planner is getting torn from boulders and cute dinosaurs!

I wanted to do a fun layout with these Craftin Desert Divas Dino Dig clear stamps and here's what I came up with!  This layout was inspired by the#cddmonthly CDD's Monthly Mood Board Challenge! Join the CDD facebook group to enter your CDD projects into the challenge and get a chance to win prizes!

I stamped the dino in a car onto sticker paper and then drew the paper burst with a pencil. I hand drew the background too.

I used Spectrum Noir (SN) IG4, IG2 and IG1 to shade the paper to make the paper and tears look 3-dimensional. I then cut the sticker paper by hand and applied to the planner page. Then I used prismacolor colored pencil in 30% warm grey to draw shadows from the paper burst.

T-rex color: SN - PP3, PP1, CR8, CR11, IG8, IG6, IG4, IG2,
Boulder and Volcano colors: SN-GB8, GB10, CR8 CR11
Trees and grass colors: SN- CG1, CG2, EB5, DG2, DG3
Sky: Copic B00

Here's a close up of the other dinos that were also stamped on sticker paper and colored with alcohol markers!
Triceratops Colors: SN - BT4, BT2, CT4, CT2, EB2, EB1
Pterodactyl Colors: SN - CG2, CG1, EB2, EB1, IG1, IG2, GB8, GB10

Initially I did all the shading on the sticker paper and didn't cut close to the drawn lines as shown above. It looked okay for the smaller bursts but for the big burst with the dino driving out of it, it looked really sloppy! So I ended up fussy cutting it closer with that image and coloring in the shadows with colored pencils, which looks a lot cleaner!

I hope you enjoyed this layout! It's really simple but was really fun to create! :)

Happy Crafting!
