Gratitude Layout with La-La Land Crafts

Hello Crafty Friends! This week's inspiration Friday theme is "Thankfulness" so why not create a gratitude layout in my planner? I find that when I document what I'm thankful for it keeps me in a generally good mood which is why dies to spell out "happy TODAY". The duckies from La-La Land Crafts' You Lucky Duck Clear stamp set is just tooo cute and makes me smile every time I see this layout.

My first project is a planner layout in my B6 traveler's notebook. I chose unorthodox colors for the cloud and the sun, but it's kinda cool that the colors are similar to a watermelon and watermelons are so iconic for the summer! :P

My next project is a slimline card. These little piggies are making waves in this card. I used the postage stamp die and partial die cutting to make the die cut long enough for a slimline card. The panel ended up a little bit short, so I used one of the smaller postage stamp dies and a sentiment to fill the space. I love how it turned out! Sometimes my best ideas comes from having to fix a mistake or when I have to consolidate for something else!

My first project is a monthly planner page in my A5 planner. I've got Reading on the Beach Marci laying down on the bottom corner of my planner page soaking up the sun while the piggies are making sand castles, sipping lemonade, and getting ready to snorkel! 

I used a lot of the La-La Land Crafts stencils to make really fun backgrounds on these pages! For the ripples I used distress oxide inks, first using Tumbled Glass, then Cracked Pistachio, and then Salty Ocean. I'm sooo in love with the way the waves looks!

My next card is a slimline card! I've been addicted to these cards and love how you can put more stamped images and die cuts in because of the extra room! Isn't this a fun scene of piggies at the beach? I used the Snowy Hills Layering stencil for the yellow background, the stencils are designed to be able to make a large continuous background so if you love slimline cards, buy all the stencils!!!

This month's kit is Farm themed and it's ADORABLE! I'm going to share with you some planner layouts using the May Club La-La Land Crafts kit! Not a Planner Girl? No problem, my planner layouts can easily be used as card fronts as well! ;)

My first project is a monthly planner layout in my A6 ring planner, using the Farmer Marci Rubber Stamp and the Truck Die. The layout is really more Truck themed. My husband has been watching a lot of Truck Modification shows and it gave me the inspo. to do this layout. I love the theme of the kit, but it's always awesome to be able to use it in other ways! I made a really cute Felt Truck Planner charm that can be clasp onto the elastic!

The first project that I wanted to share with you is a Reading Log in my Bullet Journal! The color inspiration was from Buffalo Plaid! It's the perfect timing for this kit since I'm starting to set-up my 2020 Bullet Journal and would like to start reading more! 

I created a rectangle mask to cover up where I didn't want to a colored background. I used red first, and then stenciled in the plaid pattern from the Daisies on my Mind Layering Stencil.

My next project is a fun card using the Owl and the Bunny from the One More Chapter Stamp set. I threaded some ribbons in the scalloped circle bookmark embellishment die, I really love how it's a nice and simple detail. The patterned paper is from the Little Merry Christmas Paper Pack. Even though it has "Christmas" in the name of the paper pack, there are a lot of patterns within the paper pack that's works for any occasion!

Here's another project you can make using the Club La-La Land Crafts May 2019 kit. I made some reusable medicine trackers!

I stamped and colored in the images, then drew in some grid lines and wrote in the text in the black and grey. I fussy cut the white card stock and then glued it onto patterned card stock. Then I laminated the card stock, trimmed to the desired size and then punched holes to put in my ringed planner! You can write on the laminated sheets using permanent markers (permanent markers are the writing in colored ink below), give it a few seconds to dry. You can use dry erase markers too if you don't plan to use it in a planner.

When you're ready to "erase" the writing, you can put a little bit of rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer onto a tissue or paper towel and wipe the writing off.

Here's one version using the sick Piggy and the back of the pink Dr. Marci tracker:
