Whimsical and Magical!

Hello Everyone and Happy Thursday! I did a planner layout that was inspired by the Craftin Desert Divas' August Moodboard

I really love Craftin Desert Divas' Stars and Wishes clear stamps. The little critters are so CUTE not to mention all those little adorable extras like the stars, little star flowers and trees!

I stamped the images onto sticker paper using memento dye ink and then fussy cut them using my Silhouette portrait. Then I colored the images in with alcohol markers and added some additional details using white gel pen.  I cut the clouds using sticker paper and the wave looking die in the Outdoor Landscape 2 die. Here's a closer look!

Once all the image prep was ready I laid down the glitter washi on each date divider line and then used Worn Lipstick distress ink to help the clouds stand out a little more. Then applied all of the stamped images to the layout.

This layout just says "Happy" to me! <3

Hello Crafty Friends!

Craftin Desert Divas July release is available in their shop now! The stamps and dies are full of beachy and ocean themes! Here are a few planner layouts that I had created using the new dies and new digital stamps!

How cute are these pirate digis?!?! I used the new Island and Ocean Border dies to cut out sticker paper, then I used distress inks to color in the die cuts. The digital stamps were colored using alcohol markers. :)

Digital Stamps used:
Craftin Desert Divas Digital Stamp - Treasure Hunt

Craftin Desert Divas Digital Stamp - Pirate Pal
Craftin Desert Divas Digital Stamp - Ahoy Matey

Here's a Christmas in July layout using the Surfing Santa and Mermazing Holidays digital stamps. I seriously love how you can scale up and down digital stamps and overlay them! You seriously get a bang for your buck!

Freshly Squeezed Traveler's Notebook Setup!

Hello Everyone! I decorated my Traveler's notebook with some clips and some inserts I made using Craftin Desert Diva's Freshly Squeezed Digital stamps!

I used Crafter's Companion Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth Cardstock and printed all of the digital stamps from my inkjet printer. I cut the images using my Silhouette Portrait but you can fussy cut by hand. Then I colored in the images with alcohol markers.

Tip: When importing the digital images into word, I always use the *.PNG files so there's no white space around the image, it makes it so easy to layer images cleanly!

For the top left shaker clip, I layered the lemon and lemon slices in word using the *.png files and positioned the picture to "in front of text". The circle portion of the clip was cut using the Craftin Desert Divas Mini Shaker Clip dies!

The other two shaker clips were done by printing two of the same images (in this case the pitcher of lemonade and a glass of lemonade). One of each image were kept in tact, in the second image I cut out a window to glue acetate on. I copied the cut shapes of the pitcher and glass in the Silhouette design studios to have backing to cover the paper clip.

Eeeek! This is getting long! I'll have to do a separate entry with more details on how to make planner clips!

Aloha Friends!

Aloha Friends! I wanted to share this planner layout in my mini happy planner that documented my week in Hawaii! I had to give a shout out to my CBFF (Crafty Best Friend Forever) on Friday too! Please bear with me while I find my groove with craft blogging! ;)

I used digital stamps and clear stamps from Craftin Desert Divas. I printed  the digital stamps on sticker paper and then fussy cut them.

Then I stamped clear stamps in the available white space on the same sticker paper sheet from the digital stamps print out.  I colored the images using Spectrum Noir and Copic alcohol markers.

All the washi tape used in this layout is from Michael's tropical collection!  I used Zig Brushable markers for the brush lettering.

Check out the Craftin Desert Divas Facebook page for more inspiration and information on upcoming events!
