Can you believe this is the last kit of the year?!?! The December Kit is Knitting and Crochet themed! When I was a little girl I crocheted a lot, and when I was pregnant with my first child I taught myself how to knit so I could make my son some sweaters. Sooo needless to say, I was super excited about this month's kit theme! 

My first project is a planner layout in my B6 Traveler's notebook. Marci looks so relaxed and serene knitting. I colored up the kitties three different ways. I love how you can put the kitties in the yarn basket too! Isn't this layout so fun! And yes, "Knit Happens" on my weekends. LOL!

My other project is a card that really highlights the yarn! :D This is a quick and simple card but really showcases the products in the kit! I used the Knit Panel die to emboss the knit pattern onto colored cardstock and added lots and lots of balls of yarn! <3

Rainbow Ombre background with Atelier Inks!

Hi Everyone, it's Cheryl here to show you how to make a cheerful card that's bound to brighten up anyone's day!

First I used the Inkon3 Atelier Inks to make a diagonal rainbow background! I just did this freehand so I can get a slight gradient effect when I transitioned to the next color. Look at how vibrant the colors are!

I cut out a scalloped rectangle and scalloped circle, then I embossed the scalloped rectangle using an embossing plate. I also cut out a small flag and used the Marilyn Red Atelier Ink to "dye" the paper. Next, I stamped and fussy cut some of the images from the Lil Chicks stamp set. I used the Atelier Inks as water-coloring inks to color the images! Even watered down a bit, the colors are so vibrant!

Once the red flag was dried, I stamped the "You're EGG-STRA-SPECIAL" sentiment using an embossing ink and then sprinkled some Arctic White Ultra Fine embossing powder over the stamped sentiment and heat set the embossing powder.

I assembled the card by first adhering the large scalloped rectangle to the rainbow card base, then added the little chickie and then the rest of the stamped images on the top and bottom of the circle. Lastly, I adhered the red flag on the bottom left of the card.

There you have it! A nice, clean, and simple card that's super duper adorable!

Here's some planner inspo using the new stamp Oh Deer! Stamp set! I love how versatile the stamp set. There are festive holiday elements that are included in the stamp set, but if you leave them out you can use this all year round!

I used distress oxide ink in my B6 traveler's notebook. I've been really into the combo of Shaded Lilac and Tumbled Glass. I stamped the Oh-Deer image using the Inkon3 Fade-out No-line Coloring Ink, it makes no-line coloring so much easier and so clean!  Then I colored in the images using copic markers!

Here are projects that I've created as inspiration using the October 2019 Kit! For this kit I'm all about soft colors and shakers!

My first project are some shaker bookmarks using the adorable little Piggies in the Winter Piggies stamp set. I also used the lakes and mountains dies that comes with the kit. I really love how these bookmarks turned out!
